Local people came together on Tuesday 11th December at the Lowedges Community Centre to enjoy a community Christmas Lunch.

Over 70 lunches were served to people of all ages from birth to 70+, feedback from guests was positive and everyone enjoyed a relaxing day. Bringing people together from different parts of our community, this annual meal is something many look forward too. Doors opened at 10:30 am and people were able to socialise and relax before enjoying a home-cooked lunch at lunchtime.

Prepared by a team of 12 volunteers under the supervision of the Centre Co-ordinator, the meal was a great success.
Volunteers make many of the activities possible in the Lowedges Community Centre and we are so grateful for each and everyone that gave up their time to serve their community.

Looking forward to planning the next one now in 2019!
